Types of Giving
“A great library is one nobody notices because it is always there, and always has what people need.” –Vicki Myron, author and librarian.
Services, materials, and spaces are free for students to use, but are not free to provide. We rely on the generosity of our friends and alumni to continue to fulfill the needs of a public research university and to expand our services, holdings, and update spaces. THANK YOU – we couldn’t do it without you.
Annual Giving
Do you want to enable the Libraries to meet urgent needs and fund priorities? Consider making an annual gift. Friends who make gifts of $2,500 or more are recognized as President’s Associates.
Endowment Giving
Are you interested in leaving a legacy at WSU? Consider creating an endowment that will provide funding to the Libraries in perpetuity. An endowment can be created with a one-time gift or a multi-year pledge.
Ultimate Giving
Would you like to leave a legacy at WSU but are unable to fund an endowment? Consider giving to the Libraries through your estate or another planned giving vehicle. The WSU Foundation Gift Planning Office has experienced gift officers who can assist you.
Non-Cash Giving (Gift-In-Kind)
The WSU Libraries have one of the finest research collections in the region, thanks in part to generous gifts by donors of books, journals, CDs, videos, WSU memorabilia, and more. Non-Cash Giving enriches our collections in size, scope, and diversity.
