Libraries Student Advisory Board

Undergraduate and graduate students who serve as advisors on the Board share their ideas, opinions and experiences of using the WSU Pullman Libraries. They advocate for the perspectives of student library users and make a positive impact at Washington State University. Advisors have the following responsibilities:

  1. Provide their personal input on current and new library services, spaces, resources, events and policies
  2. Promote library services, resources, and events
  3. Participate in user research projects to evaluate library services
  4. Educate fellow students about the library

If you’re interested in improving WSU Pullman Libraries services, apply to become an advisor. Read a full description of the expectations of advisors in our Student Library Advisory Board Charter. The application period for 2021–2022 is now closed, but may open again in January 2022. Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. Please email Librarian Erica Nicol at eacarlson@wsu.edu with any questions or concerns. (This is not a paid position, although we will offer snacks for any in-person meetings!)
