Assistive Technologies

NVDA Screen reading software is available on most public computers in the Libraries. Please contact the Access Center, call 509-335-3417 or email access.center@wsu.edu for additional software needs. Accessible workstations are located in the Terrell Reference Area on the first floor of Holland and Terrell Libraries and the first floor of the Owen Science and Engineering Library. These workstations are available to all and do not need to be reserved. They feature:
  • An electronically height-adjustable desk
  • A computer with screen reading software NVDA
  • A high contrast keyboard
  • A trackball mouse and headphones are also available for checkout at both circulation desks
Additionally, the Owen Science and Engineering Library has a 20” HD screen magnifier located on the first floor. Visit the WSU Libraries Accessibility page for more detailed information.
