First Edible Book Festival Winners Announced
Our inaugural Edible Book Festival on April 8 drew more than 100 individuals who voted for their favorite entry, including many WSU moms with their students for the Moms’ Weekend festivities.
Thanks to the discerning eyes of our celebrity judges Christopher Bruce, Jamie Kohler, Joanna Bailey and Sarah Frame English, the winners were Chelsea Leachman, Most Appetizing Award, for “Buttons for Corduroy”; Trevor Bond, Best Visual Presentation Award, for “Proust’s Madeleines”; Erica Nicol, Punniest/Funniest Award, for “Berry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Scone”; and Holly Campbell, People’s Choice Award, for “Frank-in-Stein.”
